4.5.4p1 issues - won't quit. (OS X 10.9.5)

Anyone else having frequent problems to quit 4.5.4p1?
I was several times forced to shut down my Mac with the power button because force quit won't work. I never had any issues like that before and this happens with Unity only (since I've upgraded from Mountain Lion to Mavericks 10.9.5 and 4.5.1p1 on saturday).
I also often see a second copy appearing in the dock for no reason.

Not quite the same issue, but might be connected. on Windows 8.1, after upgrading to 4.5.4 the project opening and quitting takes 5 minutes, instead of 5 seconds. This was not happening on 4.5.1 it was perfect, therefore I rolled back the upgrade and the problem disappeared. Also unity 5.0.0beta5 does the same.

 

4.5.4 worked fine (on Mountain Lion). But 4.5.4p1 on Mavericks not.

for me unity crashes then when i reopen it i just get bouncing icon, unity does not load and wont force quit so i have to restart mac.

 

Seeing the same thing here.
It might be because I was using a mounted drive to open a file and the mount had gone. The launcher maybe doesn't like that very much....

 

I hate unity now because of that. It won't let me quit the personal. It just states open and it won't let me delete it or remove it from the doc. please help me
