3Ds Max & Unity? (Using My Model as an avatar)

    Hello! I am currently trying to make a small dancing game. I am currently working on the base test version before i actually launch the game making it available for people to play. Getting to the point ,I have created NPCs and Playable characters vital to the game's function and storyline,however,I do not know how to put the models in unity as avatars. This is a huge problem. I've tried the MMD to unity widget but it has not worked out due to the scripts being too old of my version of unity. It's unclear what version is compatible with it anyways.All i know is its a few years old. Anyways how can i go about using my model from 3DS max (.dae) as a avatar &/or NPC?
