Maybe I've missed something but I can't find how to make my sound effect a 3D sound, so it sounds like it's in the environment and not a UI sound.

    Can anyone help please?

    Thanks

On your Sound Source component, there is a 'Spatial Blend' option. Which is a slider that goes from 2D to 3D. Make sure that is not all the way over at 2D. And then play around with your Volume Rolloff settings
