3D programmer for driving simulator

    Job Description
    Become part of our driving simulation team! You will look after the existing 3D simulation environment, constantly develop it further and create new visual experiences in the field of automotive driving simulation. Furthermore, you will develop concepts and in-house tools for automated and facilitated generation of road networks and landscapes. You will transfer existing HMI simulations into 3D gamification concepts.

    This position has to be on-site in Germany/Ingolstadt.

    Responsibilities

    • You will create a virtual landscape with streets, buildings, trees and more
    • You will create scenarios with cross roads, traffic lights and pedastrians
    • You will work on our own developed visualisation
    • Be part of young and dynamic team with exciting projects

    Skills and Qualifications
    • Completed studies in computer science, serious games development, virtual reality or comparable
    • At least 2 years of professional experience in software development
    • Good knowledge of one of the common game engines (preferably Unity, Unreal or Unigine)
    • Good knowledge of C++/ C#
    • Basic knowledge of shader development (HLSL/ Nodebased)
    • Experience in software design and OOP
    • Knowledge of Blender or other 3D modelling software
    • Knowledge of procedural geometry generation an advantage
    • Structured, independent and proactive way of working
    • Good written and spoken German and English skills
    • Good communication skills and enjoys software development in a team
