Hello ,my name is Immanuel and i am a 3d Animator.Im pretty much at the level where i can create anything.i use Maya, zbrush,Mari or Photoshop, texturing and normal maps.I also can create effects directly in unity.i am looking for a programing buddy to link up with, call, email, Tex etc.. My programing skills only go as far as getting a player to move with some animations.soooo Yes i may be looking for a programmer to work on some projects but for now just a friend with a different talent.i can answer questions about what ever modeling issue you may have or want to create orrrrrrrrr i can hook you up with some free assets.

they gonna close because you have to use connect.

tips: words mean little, show your portfolio. Write in a clean, concise, professional manner. You don't want to attract the riff-raff.

    Good luck

Plus the last thing you want to do is show up on a forum with a brand new account and have your first post be a poorly written one with an email address. Do you know who else has poorly written posts with email addresses? Scammers.

Absolutely no one with any understanding of the Internet will be contacting that email regardless of whether it's valid.

Eh, maybe I'm getting soft but I think this was sincere. If this is some kind of scam, it's a pretty creative, unusual one.

It's sincere, but this feels a lot like a "fire and forget" job request. The kind where the OP doesn't really look into the situation or the community, just fires off a listing, maybe comes back a day to a week later to sweep up the remains. It's like walking down the street with a megaphone, shouting "HIRE ME," and figures that's enough.

You guys all skipped over the actual text and just read the title. There is no job. The guy wants a hobby friend to talk to.

Man, I thought I was jaded.

Having a poorly typed post, having a link to an email address with a brand new account, having every single tag available for the section it is posted in, having zero examples of their work, etc makes it very hard to be anything but jaded. I do agree it's most likely sincere, but it's a very poorly made post which makes it very hard to have any confidence in them.

I was able to find what appears to be their portfolio though.

And what appears to be an attempt at a resume.
