    Hi, there.
    Here is my new asset:
    3D Realistic Animated Clouds.

    WEB DEMO

    BUY - 10$ ONLY
    $big.png

Not heavy at all because of a shuriken particle system and a small number of particles that was used.

5 high resolution animation spritesheets represent 5 different cloud types.
5 cloud mesh emitters are included. Or you can easily use your own mesh.

Due to the particle based system, every new cloud looks totally random.

    Just check out the demo)

    - Updated(05.01.2014) - now it's possible to create a flight through the clouds effect with this clouds.

    Hi

I just purchased your package. Looks very nice. A couple of questions...

How can I de-animate the clouds? Is it possible to have static clouds with this system?

    Hi. Thanks!

Well, animation consists of 2 parts - particle system animation and texture spritesheet..
First of all you could highly increase particle lifetime and decrease the emission rate, this along with tweaking the particle system(reducing the rotation during the lifetime) would make the animation really slow, almost static.

Also you could cut one frame from the spritesheet and use it instead of the whole spritesheet.

These clouds are static by nature, but suitable not for all situations (the 3d effect is created by using a number of curved planes with real clouds textures)

If you still have some problems/ question, please contact me by e-mail(You can find it on my assetstore page) and I will do my best to help you.
    Best regards, Stanislav.

    Thanks Stanislav

I found a better solution by using ParticleSystem.Pause()
