    Hi All,

I've poured through the documentaiton and some outdated video tutorials. I'm using Version 3.2.2 of the 2D Animation package. I've rigged my sprite and am able to do poses in the preview pose window of the Sprite Editor. That's all good.

I can't figure out how to generate an animatable, rigged character from this?? Videos you Youtube says you just press "APPLY" and it'll create a prefab. But that must be on old versions because nothing happens. I'm also looking at the official documentation (https://docs.unity3d.com/Packages/com.unity.2d.animation@3.2/manual/index.html) and it seems to just go straight to telling me to use the normal animation system. Step 1: Rig, Step2: ??, Step3: Animate.

    What is Step2 ??

    Thank you in advance.

Okay, nevermind. I generated a PSB file instead (of just a PSD) and it seems to have come up with the game usable character now...

    All in the workflow instructions!!

Why doesn't it just work with a normal PSD sprite though?

This is a current limitation due to how the importers work. The ability to use switch importers is coming soon.
