2d side-scrolling tutorial

    Obviously, a 2d game CAN be made with Unity but does anyone have a simple tutorial, like tetris?

    2D isn't really any different from 3D. Depending on what sort of game you're doing, you might want to put the camera into orthogonal mode, and maybe prevent objects from moving on certain axes.

    There was talk of putting together a mario style side scrolling platformer demomajig. No idea what is going on with that tho.
