    Best. Statement. Ever.

Sorry, I don't work much with 2d in Unity. When I do, it's usually just using transparent images on planes and using an orthographic camera.

Sometimes make a 2d game on unity3d sucks sometimes not i think the only thing i can say is: If there's a feature in unity3d that you can't find in other 2d engines(game maker, game editor,torque,etc..) continue on it.Are you asking if unity can be used with smartfox? If yes...well yes hehe

Game maker has become a fairly good option for 2d games. Sorry I'm in a kindle fire.

It really depends on what kind of look your going for . I use RageTools Pro( this is the final step in the set, you need RageSpline, then RageTools, then RageTools Pro) and it drawing vectors fast within unity or importing SVG files .

We've made a couple of 2D games using completely custom toolkits, we didn't buy or download anything. Try to create your own setup and it'll be much easier to use than something you have to learn.

Hey Visloc, I thought I might try to be helpful and explain why the "I'm in a cellphone" thing is so funny to English speakers. The way it's phrased, it sounds like you're literally inside of a cell phone; ordinarily it would be phrased "I'm on a cell phone" or "I'm using a cell phone". Just so you know in the future :) English is really hard. You're doing pretty well, all things considered.

As for 2D frameworks, I recommend 2D Toolkit. It's simple, relatively full-featured, and it works well with the Unity way of doing things. If you want to compose your sprites out of multiple pieces, though, you're probably better off with Smooth Moves for animation.

Also to explain, we are not making fun of you. It really was just funny. It made me laugh :)

    Good luck with your game.

I think 2DToolkit is awesome choice for 2D games and UI. I love 2DToolkit. Automated spritesheet creation is awesome. I had no problem playing with animation system. I haven't created full 2D game using Unity yet but I loved making UI with 2DToolkit.

I actually found the tutorials here: http://www.rocket5studios.com/tutorials/ :to be nifty in regard to 2D.

Mais, ici on parle francais. Si tu quieres hablar con nosotros, necesitas hablar en Aleman. Was? Das ist nicht sehr gut, nein? E la vita...

But yeah, I found the Rocket 5 Studios stuff to be helpful.
