    Do any of these groups amount to anything? It seems like the mostly get filled with devs rather then players.

    The basic idea behind this group is create group with, active members and before release the actual product developers can get feedback from others. According to feedback developer can add or remove features for final products. All are welcome in this group.

    Here only unity 3D development related products discuss, in FB group you can see the games from other game engines too.But, I think most of the games are now create using unity 3D.
