This is a 2d solution for unity similar to the one used in games like Zombieville USA and OMG Pirates!

    it contains:
3 - type of skins and the following animations..
    - walk
    - jump
    - run
    - die
    - shoot
    - ak47
    - walk ak47
    - shoot rpg
    - walk rpg

    1 - Tileable backdrop
    2 - different houses

The skins can be simply customised by just changing the textures of the materials.

Go check it out at the AssetStore here:

    Hi,
I was looking at the asset in the asset store. All I can see are png files and .mat files, I guess the animations are in the FBX file.
as 'stefmen' asked, you could add some information in the product description about how this asset is going to help.
    - use as it is only?
    - use is as a template to then create your own animation because animations/skeleton(sort of) can be edited?

I wonder if reversing the direction of the character would be an issue. Since the limbs are setup in a particular 'Z' order, I guess you could reorder them programmatically when the character started moving in the opposite direction.
