Question 2D Animation, Skinning editor, can not move bones in preview pose

    Hi!

    I can not move bones in skinning editor in preview pose after adding the bone. Also, when i made first bone. Then click right mouse button. And the little circle under the mouse arrow does not disappear. I can not choose this bone and proceed with building connected bone. Only new can create.

    I added a sprite character with .psd importer. Turn multiple sprites. Enter the Sprite editor and choose Skinning editor. Reinstall 2D package, and editor
    I use Unity Editor version 22.3.5. Windows 11 Home.
    On the other laptop with Ubuntu 22, Unity Editor 22.3.4 all correct works.

    Is it bug?

    Similar issue here.
    1. Click Edit Bone: All Bones get selected.
    2. Cannot click select any single bone.
    3. Left click and drag creates a green selection rectangle starting at the click location and extending to the upper righthand corner of the sprite editor panel.
    4. Weight Painting does not work. Left clicking to do so did not create the green selection rectangle.

    Bone Assigning and Weight Painting workaround:
    There is a workaround for selecting a single bone by picking the bone in the Visibility list. However, weights can only be applied with the Weight Slider (see #4 above) and the bone itself cannot be rotated (see #3 above.)

    This only appears to affect Skinning Editor portion of the Editor. This has really slowed me down and prevents any skeletal tuning.

    Removing and Reimporting 2D package did not resolve the issue.

    They don't seem the same issue to me. But I'm not the arbiter here.

    Looks like the same, but more detailed description. I want to add that I cannot rotate the bone.
    So what to do? I stuck at the beginning of creation of the game.

    Hey. If you have any work you have already completed. Maybe not ideal solution but it worked for me.

    Export a package of the prefab with dependencies and open in older Unity. (I use 2021.3.16f1)
    Its functionality is dependable, and you can rig everything nicely.

    However, between you and me this IK system has a seriously wonky issue. You can get deep into animating something and then you click "restore default pose" only to see your Solver and Target move to the wrong locations. Where the Target is offset from the Resolver (not at the desired position in relation to the "Default" pose, like 0,0,0)

    The 2023 alpha IK Sprite Editor works but I read Unity plans to abandon current 2D IK?

    If LimbSolver2d and its Target get out of line after clicking Restore Default pose.

    1) click the target and set its position to 0,0,0
    2) then curb your expectations over Restoring Default Pose, I guess. I have trust issues now.

    I have not found this as problem being discussed elsewhere, so I'm going to discount my ramblings on this matter due to the possibility that my setup process could be flawed. But my animations still work.

    Thanks for advice. First time this issue i met at 22.3.4f. than i uninstalled it. and install 22.3.5f. the same issue. this will not work for me.

    I also had this issue. This bug is fixed on Unity 2022.3.6f1. :)

    I have installed Editor 2022.3.6f1. And it work probably.
