Hi, Well the questions are in the title, since now 2D characters can have almost all the possibilities 3D characters had, how about avatars and ragdolls for 2D animation? Thanks for this great package)
Thanks @APSchmidt. We currently don't have the 2D counterpart of avatar on our roadmap. Is it something you would find useful in your game? As for the rag doll @MelvMay created this super cool Physics 2D examples project https://github.com/Unity-Technologies/PhysicsExamples2D and it contains the FixedJoint2D_RagDoll that you might find helpful
To echo what Marek said, you can get a ragdoll effect via 2D hinge joint components pretty easily. There is a alot of content about it. I used this one a little while back
