I've been using the preview version of 2D Animation and it has mainly worked pretty nicely. I ran into a problem though that I just can't wrap my head around. I'm trying to test and setup a character so that I can swap its equipment / color while still using the same bones and animations. I have followed the instructions that can be found here: https://docs.unity3d.com/Packages/com.unity.2d.animation@2.2/manual/SLASwap.html

At step 6 when I selected the other characters Sprite Library Asset for the character on the left, the bones are all messed up and only 4 of the bones are transferred to the target character. I have checked everything. Category names, label names, bone names, layer orders and spite names are all same for both of the characters.

When I look at each individual sprite that should be attached to a bone, there a slot for more than one bone and the whole thing is broken. The working character has only one slot for torso bone, as it should be, and the broken character has 3 extra slots and an error message. Has this happened to someone else and if so, is there a fix for it? I would really appreciate some help :)

You can see some screenshots of the problem in the attached files.

Hey, I can't quite see what's going wrong with your project from the screenshots. If you submit a bug report and tell me what the issue # is, I can take a closer look and figure out if it's a workflow issue or a bug.

Turned out it was a bone influence problem. Got it to work eventually. Thanks anyway!
