Hello everyone, I want to develop a 2D/2.5D RPG game like Graveyard Keeper or Stardew Valley. Is it possible to develop such game in a very low end laptop? I don't want to waste my limited money if it isn't possible to be honest. I do have a PC but, I'm planning to use the laptop when i travel.

I'm thinking to buy Hometech Alfa 470C Celeron N4020-4Gb-128Gb Emmc

    - 4 gb RAM

    - Intel Celeron N4020 4MB/1.1 GHz Turbo Boost 2.8 GHz/2 Cores

    - Intel UHD Graphics

Probably not, although a game can only be as good as the person who's developing it.

Unity in general does tend to need quite a meaty PC though.

    1. Windows 10 system requirements are minimum 1 GHz and 2 GB of RAM (64 bit version). You will be working on Unity all time in turbo boost, heating up laptop and using a lot of battery.
    2. Windows 7 and 8.1 are no longer supporter by Microsoft so software developers also abandoning this target soon or later. No point to use old stuff.
My advice, install on PC VirtualBox and create virtual machine with resources like on a laptop. Check how it will perform.
