Bug 2023 a26 and b7 with Meta Quest Pro does not work

When I use 2021 after a version downgrade it works fine but I want it to work clean so I tried to import and I get this problem.

Because in 2023 it's 2.3 but on 2021 it only goes to 2.2! Can Unity make it where you can use newer packages??? I can't even run Meta Quest Pro on 2023 a26 or on 2023 B7 as it doesn't build correctly.

 

There should be 2 or more versions at least then. The one tested to be stable and the one on newer versions because it can still work even though it's not tested.

The problem is when you are on a slightly newer version that has irrelevent updates to the project, it would still work but because it's a newer Unity version, without it passing the Unity Technologies stability QA procedures, it's not allowed to be downloaded.

It's cool to be able to download some dependencies manually but you can't do that for everything or I assume only the ones that aren't shown at all on the newer versions are all handled by Unity Technologies?

There should also be a link to manually install the dependency but it's a lot quicker to one-click install/uninstall from the Manager.
