Bug 2021.3.14f1 thinks 1.3.2 is the latest version

    Just downloaded the package a few days ago, but for some reason it only lets me grab 1.3.2.

    I know I can just manually update the manifest to point to the latest version, but is there some reason why the package manager doesn't see version 1.4+? Shouldn't it be pointing to 1.4.3?

    Yes, the package manager has a very convoluted way to update the recommended version. if we want to show the latest version in the package manager we need to create a backport for each Unity version, as we would with a bug fix. It's a lot of work and would only work on the new patch versions, not existing releases. So we only update the latest version of Unity. Some package manager versions will show it if you choose the show all versions option. Updating the manifest file is the best way to go if it's not visible in the package manager.
