Bug 2020.3.13 is very slow sometimes. can it be relied on for production?

    I made a stint in LTS land from trusty 2020.1.17 and here is the emoji version o_O:mad:

    Now the image version when pressing play:
    2020.1.17: 9 second steady
    2020.3.13

    sometimes it hits 9 seconds

    It is more than just waiting, it's trust in the tool that's eroding. Because if playback is all over the place then what else is broken? And if an LTS is not dependable then what is?
