2020.1.0a17 - What is this symbol for? (Not explained in the documentation)

What are their use and meaning?

Flag for setting gameobjects unselectable in the scene view.

For example you may want to set this on your level geometry so you can easily select characters, items etc.

Icon is pretty crap. Would like to see some clearer alternatives such as a cross over a mouse pointer for example.

 

a lock icon would have been better

 

And the eye icon should be always visible, not just when its not enabled

It actually sort of looks like a column of vulkan live long and prospers when your eyesight gets as bad as mine.

 

I try to se Vulcan, but my imagination fails. I even walked 2 meters away trying to see it

Never the less, I really Don't like new icons in general. They feel like low quality effort, made by none professional to me.
