Bug [2019.4.4f1] [2019.4.3f1] 100% crash when exiting the editor

    Hi,

    Could anyone help me understanding what files could be corrupted and fixed? I'm having a constant crash when exiting the editor, probably while saving the Player or Quality settings ? What info would you need from me to debug this? Any logs from Unity or on my disk?

    Thanks for any help

    When the crash occurs, does it pop up a dialog suggesting that you submit a bug report for the crash? If so, you should do that. Attached to the bug report will also be the crash details. You can view the editor log and see what caused the crash towards the end of the log. (Look for the term "Crash!" in the log file.)

    You probably need to keep figuring out why you can't submit bug reports. But this log info seems odd. If you open and close Unity again, does it always have BeginGameProfilingSection at the top of the stack? Do you actually have a profiler session open, and possibly recording? Maybe try opening the profile window, and making sure it's not recording. Possibly it's stuck "on" or something? I don't know.

    EDIT : Spoke too soon. I could exit perfectly since yesterday and now I get the same crash again.. I'll try to report the bug if I can.

    From Unity : It should be fixed in 2020.2.0a16 and 2020.1.0b17.
