2019 2.8f1 Unity Terrain resets material to pure white "Terrain Visualisation"

    I have visualisation set to none in the terrain toolbox. I can manually change the material back to the standard built-in terrain material to see the painted textured terrain layers again.

    Each time I save or hit play it resets back to the pure white Terrain Visualisation material.

    Not sure if it's a bug or a bad set up on my part.

    I know this comment was a while ago, but did you ever happen to get this resolved? I was taking a look at the altitude heatmap and now I cannot for the life of me get my terrain to show its painted layers anymore.

    I also encountered this issue, solved by selecting the terrain and in the inspector going to Setting and changing the material back to Default - Terrain - Standard.

    I have got the same problem here. Everytime i try to apply colours from the Terrain Visualisation menu it doesn't apply to the terrain and goes away when i close the toolbox window

    Someone any ideas?
