Hey, I have no idea how to fix this or what is even causing it. It happened once I updated my project to Unity 2018.3.0f2. Its appearing in edit mode.

I have reimported Console Pro thinking it was maybe that asset.

Any ideas on what I should do?

Strangely enough the error has gone. I had to remove from missing scripts from prefabs that were trying to save but couldn't because of missing scripts. After I did that the error is no longer... i don't know how that is related but all is good now

I'm getting this exact same error and not even using Console Pro. Btw when you post a fix, be more descriptive. What 'Preferences' are you talking about? The one under 'Edit' in Unity? because that doesn't even have an option for 'Other'. I see this all the time it seems, people wanting help with something fixing an issue and then when the post the 'fix' they give far less information and guidance than what they were probably expecting to have initially. :(

Hey sorry yea this fix wouldn't be much help to you then I'm afraid. The preferences I was referring to were the Console Pro preferences when you right on the tab.

Outside of this asset I'm not sure what it could be. You might have to file a bug report with Unity

Restoring the default editor layout fixed the problem for me.

Upgrading Editor Console Pro asset is another possible solution.

    https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/tools/utilities/editor-console-pro-11889

    Version 3.956 (released Mar 4, 2019)

Added log file mode, allowing you to parse Editor.log
Added search CPAPI command to set the search text field
Fix for Unity exceptions some people are getting in a few Unity versions
Disabling override status bar for now, hack no longer works well with new Unity versions
