After importing the project to the 2018.3.0b1 to 2018.3.0b2 editor hangs permanently.
0% CPU usage, but UI is not responding, plus "thinking" cursor appears.

Restart doesn't help. I wonder if full re-import will help.
No errors in editor logs as well.

Feels like some thread didn't returned control properly.

    This is on Win10.

Full reimport helped, but's really unwanted solution.

Ive ran into that issue as well, along with a full reimport everytime I add a new asset to the project

Could we get bug reports for this please? I possible, with reproduction projects.

I don't think minimal repro project will help in this case. And I can't share the project.
Plus, I don't think it's reproducable without the assets or after the reimport.

I had the same problem, solved by unplugging the lan cable for starting unity .... (I know it sounds strange...) But a look into the editor log shows a package manager related error (something with netsocket have to look it up again.)

Could you please share your log with us? Best way would be via bug report and then reference the issue ID here. Logs are automatically attached to them.
