I tried to use "World Streamer" from the asset store and following the tutorial I ended up with a scene totally white washed in light. Doing the same in the latest windows editor worked just fine on Windows 7.
    Is that problem already known?

I could only reproduce it with this asset although I had temporary light problems in another project but the effect was different and somehow cured itself.
