Bug 2018.2.3f1 crashes on desktop change

Unity Linux Editor 2018.2.3f1 crashes when I switch between desktops (using Ctrl+Alt+<arrow>).
Edit: It seems HW/driver related. I tested the bug on other computer and couldn't reproduce it - for details see bellow.


Steps to reproduce

• Install Unity Linux Editor 2018.2.3f1 (Build #20180814)
  
• Open an project (can be new and empty)
  
• Switch to different desktop and back again (using Ctrl+Alt+<arrow>)
• Observe Unity crashing
• Reproduction rate: about 25%

My environment

• Xubuntu 18.04.1 64 bit (originally reported for 16.04, but I upgraded)
  
• Standard xfce desktop

Hardware - reproducible

• Processor: 4x AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 640 Processor
• Memory: 4GB
  
• Graphics: Radeon HD 5850
  • using default drivers

Hardware - not reproducible

• Processor: 8x Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz
• Memory: 16GB
  
• Graphics: GeForce GTX 970
  • using NVIDIA's official drivers (not the default ones)

Traces

• Console: "Neúspěšně ukončen (SIGABRT) (core dumped [obraz paměti uložen])", translated: "Closed unsuccesfully (SIGABRT) (core dumped [memory image saved])"
  
• Log: I'm sorry, I don't know where to search log (couldn't find anything in /var/log)
• Dump: I'm sorry, couldn't find anything. /var/crash contains only ".lock" file and /var/log/apport.log contains only:
