    Hi all,

    Just a friendly reminder that any teams who are planning to enter Unity Awards 2008 have two weeks before the Entry deadline. More info and dates are on the contest page: http://unity3d.com/contest/

    Please feel free to spread the word about the Unity Awards to your friends and colleagues. Truly the more variety of Unity-made games that enter the awards, the more games can be recognized.

    How to Enter
    Send an Entry Application email to contest@unity3d.com before 11:59pm GMT on September 1st, 2008. The subject line needs to include your game name like this "UA 2008: Game Name". The body of the email needs to include:
    • * Team Name
      * Member Names
      * Game Name
      * Game Description
      [list:b831797479]** Technology used (Terrains, procedural, ragdolls, etc.)
      ** Number of players, network or single machine
      ** Target distributable (standalone, web player, widget)
      ** Website/blog/development journal?
      ** Optional concept art
      ** Optional playable demo
    [/list:u:b831797479]We have not sent out confirmation emails to any entries just yet, but we will do so before the deadline and indicate that anyone who hasn't received confirmation should re-send their entry email. Good luck to all, and we're looking forward to your games!

    When posting the beta on the boards, should we just post something with "BETA RELEASE HERE!" or reply to our own project posts?

    I think it's up to you... if you already have a thread going about the game you've entered then probably just adding to that thread makes the most sense. But if that thread has gone silent for a while and after a few weeks your game has drastically changed creating a new thread for the beta submission might make sense. It's probably best not to create too many threads based on the same entry though.

    Looking forward to more entries being showcased!

    And I can now confirm that all received entries have been sent an email reply. So anyone who sent an entry application email and has not received a reply, we did not receive your application. Please re-send it to contest@unity3d.com!

    Everyone else, there is one week remaining to enter the contest!
