    Really cool game, do you make a full game of it (with story etc.) ?
    Have you made the hit detection with the sword with triggers?

    I would have certainly liked to! I had a lot of high hopes going into it with what I thought was a pretty solid little tale but alas, I had to be real about my expectations. There came a point where this project became more of a chore than fun. So I had to cut and cut a lot. Achievements/quests/levels/weapons/upgrades. You name it, I've got a notebook somewhere with it all written and doodled out.

    The hit detection is with 2D triggers yes. I turn them off and on with the animator component only on the swinging sword animations and only for just a few frames like on the swing down. They go right back off as soon as the sword hits the ground and he returns to his Idle animation.

    Really like it although I'm not good at it, according to the leaderboard. The graphics look really good. How long have you, or your team, been working on this?

    Just myself. Getting it to this stage, a year. Mostly nights and mostly only on Tuesdays and Thursdays... The first iteration was very different from the one you played though. It was much more of a side scrolling platformer. Now it has no platforms and is more like an arcade with a stage.

    Ha! This is perhaps the most amazing part of game development: no matter how good you think you are, there's tons of people who can absolutely destroy your score.

    Fun game, cool art, the menu animations were pretty juicy, I'm afraid I wasn't very good at the game but I enjoyed it and found myself replaying a few times to see what new environments I might be put in. Very nice art!

    It's done. I've submitted the build to the app store. Now, all there is left to do is wait... or maybe start another game project.

    Heh love the art in this. I suck at this game though. I totally missed the starting instructions because the screen loaded so fast and that's my excuse ;)
