Bug 1.4.4 on 2019LTS record button doesn't work

    I'm using 1.4.4 on 2019LTS. Did I mess up by upgrading? I was under the impression that 1.4.x version were fine for LTS. Not *verfied* fine, but they should work. It seems that it doesn't work at all. Is rolling back safe?

    I'm on a mac and it seems I'm getting exactly this issue: https://issuetracker.unity3d.com/is...ng-on-the-record-button-of-an-animation-track (although this one says Windows only).

    The TLDR is pressing record on an animation track causes instant NullReferenceException and I can't do much.

    Actually, I just rolled back to the *verified* package and pressing record still results to a NullReferenceException. On LTS. With a verified package.

    This is a known issue in 2019.4. The problem is an issue with the layout files. Refresh the layout files to correct it.

    The issue is fixed in 2020.1 and above, and a fix for 2019.4 LTS is incoming.
