Resolved [1.0.15] IndexOutOfRangeException: Index x is out of range in DynamicBuffer of 'x' Length.

    Enter play mode and get the following error. Seems like there's bug at GhostCollectionSystem.

    I have a original ghost prefab that has a few of child ghost entities. After I move out those child ghost entities out as separate parent ghost entity and then remove the original ghost prefab, I will get the errors.

    @CMarastoni Kindly check the same project I share with u last time and switch to GhostCollectionSystemBug branch to reproduce the bug. I think it's quite hard to reproduce at simple repo. You can also check GhostComponentBug and PrespawnedGhostBug for another 2 new bugs.

    @CMarastoni :( Currently this bug is completely blocking development and require official to fix it asap. Now even I create new ghost will also break the game.

    Do you have the bug ID, optimise?

    I've repro'd this today in my own dev work. The repro I encountered was caused by registering a Ghost on the ServerWorld, but NOT on the ClientWorld. If you use GhostPrefabCreation.ConvertToGhostPrefab in your code, please ensure it's identical on the client and server.

    Cause: ProcessGhostPrefab can fail, and early out (and output a error). When this occurs, we still attempt to access the value in the collection (ctx.ghostPrefabSerializerCollection) but it was never added to it! Thus, OutOfRangeException. I'll fix the exception, but the underlying cause (an invalid prefab) must still be fixed in your code.

    That may also be a netcode package bug, but please confirm. You should be seeing an error log that occurs before this exception, in your console. This should tell you why the ProcessGhostPrefab call failed.

    I've just seen this message. This is likely the cause. We don't support modifications to ghost prefabs parent/child relationships after they have been registered. A Ghost prefab must be a root parent, and it cannot have Ghost children.

    You'd need to do this parenting/unparenting first, then register them as Ghost prefabs (via GhostPrefabCreation.ConvertToGhostPrefab).

    Actually I found the issue is caused by authoring baker. You will need to call GetEntity() to fetch the ghost before going into NetcodeConversionTarget meaning that when u only call GetEntity() inside NetcodeConversionTarget code path to fetch the ghost, u will get ghost that I believe has different hash at client and server even they are same ghost that make it failed to sync properly between client and server thus the GhostCollectionSystem error
