This is really excellent work, you should be proud of it. Still a long way to go before you can ship but so far this is a very good start.
The brute force method did work, however it means I'm left with huge gaps between the characters :|
Try reducing the mass to less than one, 0.1 for example.
I've never heard of inverting the normals on a collider but I'd just make an area out of 6 planes if there's no way around it.
Yeah but unfortunately that's $199 I don't have in my budget.
It's certainly not trivial. But I find it amazing this hasn't been solved a hundred times by now it's such a common requirement.
Thanks for the reply. Yeah I guess that would work a sort of brute force approach. Suppose all I have to do now is find a font that's wide...
Sounds like you need to reduce the mass, not increase it. Make sure to apply a physics material to the ball and reduce its drag/friction.
Hi all, I know this is a very common question, and I've read all the answers. The solution of drawing it four times I just can't bring myself...
Liking the art so far...
My suggestion on this issue (I've stumbled across this thread because I found a use for such a feature) is to have a tickbox on every object while...
Good start but all the above feedback is valid. Where did you get the custom character and anims?
You could move the spaceship by creating a ridgidbody object and setting it to ignore gravity. Then you could move it by adding velocities based...
Tried a few things to resolve this, restricting the throttle completely and the thing still drives away!
Hey guys, I downloaded 3.4 a week or so ago and now the Car Tutorial prefab seems to move forward on its own, even after you reverse it seems...
This looks great. Looking forward to a playable version. Isn't having every block in the world as a rigidbody quite expensive?
