i am using NDO2 and selfpainted metal textures + custom brushes for scratches, worn-out paint etc. in my opinion ddo is way too expensive...
metal textures...i could, but i am more in environment models, not so much in handhelds and that is a completely different workflow :(...
i have no idea what you want to achive, but your metal texture looks good. Are you painting your metal-textures yourself or are you using textures...

yes, because blender has a complete different "render-engine" than unity. What you can import into unity are animations, textures, models....
