To work well with version control - and UCB - we really need another way than "hacking" the Unity install. Is there a workaround or another way?

Same here, I tried some workarounds, like creating a project from scratch then importing a package but still have the "everything gets darker"...

Yes, it still crashes with 5.2.2p3 while using metal. It'd be great if you find a way to fix it, or a workaround.

You're right, OS's WebCamTexture doesn't return its proper width and height and instead reports 16 and there is an active issue...

I suppose asm.js/emscripten and PNaCl are good - but completely different - candidates. Anyway UT has always been *very* good at tackling that...
I am not sure skinned mesh instancing is exactly the same thing we are talking in this topic ; we are going to have mesh instancing in Unity 4?
Is there something new about gpu mesh instancing in Unity? It would very very helpful in the architecture and urban planning visualisation field.
