We need wireframe and don't use gradients on images as it hides the details.
Blender has far better UV editor then 3dsmax and even professionals game artists agree.Something that takes 10min to uvmap in 3dsmax will most...

Looks much better,you should balance the colors so the wood from the wheel is colored in the similar color of the body.
Looking good thunderent just work a bit more on the metal texture especially on the specular map.

Bake it onto low poly model and problem solved.
