You should make an HTML5 version.
It will probably be difficult for Unity to compete with all the free alternatives that will be available for creating HTML5/WebGL games.

I don't think it was a mistake. Unity got a ton of Flash developers to convert to Unity.
If you were frustrated with developing in HTML5, why wouldn't you want Unity to make that process easier for you?
