The bug is still present, there are no estimation of when it's going to be fixed and it's a pretty essential part of the physics system.
Still present on 2019.3.a2, please vote on this Issue, because it's making the Cloth component unusable for skinned characters....

Are there any good "neutral" base meshes compatible with UMA 2? Specifically the face, I find that the UMA default meshes have a "dead eyed" look...

No errors on the console, even messing with the alpha the hair is still transparent.
